Dr. Marija Stojanović is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, employed at the Institute of Medical Physiology since 2011. She graduated at The Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 2010. The academic specialization entitled “Effects of D,L-homocysteine thiolactone on the spontaneous motility of isolated rat duodenum and neurotransmission mediated by nitric oxide” in the field of Experimental Physiology and Pathological Physiology was defended in 2012. in front of the Commission: Prof. dr Dragan Đurić, Prof. dr Vesna Lačković and Prof. dr Ljiljana Šćepanović, mentor. Dr Stojanović finished PhD studies in the field of Physiological Science in 2016. defending doctoral dissertation at the Medical Faculty in Belgrade. The doctoral thesis titled “Functional, biochemical and histological changes in the rat digestive tract under conditions of acute hyperhomocysteinaemia or subchronic stimulation with methionine” was defended in front of the Commission: Prof. dr Dragan Đurić, Prof. dr Vesna Dragutinović, Prof. dr Gvozden Rosić, Prof. dr Ljiljana Šćepanović, mentor and Prof. dr Nebojša Radovanović, commentor. She is a clinical biochemistry specialist since april 2018.
Fields of interests: physiology of gastrointestinal system, assessment of oxidative status, interpretation of laboratory analysis
